Call for Workshops & Special Sessions
Innovate Green 2025 (IG2025) invites researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to propose Workshops and Special Sessions that align with the conference’s core themes of sustainability, digital transformation, smart infrastructure, and climate action. IG2025 serves as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, bridging the gap between research, technology, and real-world applications to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Workshop & Special Session Tracks
We encourage submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Sustainable Energy & Climate Solutions (Renewable energy, carbon neutrality, climate change mitigation)
- Smart Cities & Green Infrastructure (Sustainable urban planning, eco-friendly architecture, resilient infrastructure)
- Circular Economy & Sustainable Business Models (Green finance, waste management, sustainable manufacturing)
- Emerging Green Technologies (AI for sustainability, blockchain in energy, IoT for environmental monitoring)
- Policy & Governance for Sustainability (Regulations, corporate sustainability strategies, government initiatives)
- Sustainable Transportation & Mobility (Electric vehicles, smart transport systems, public transit innovations)
Types of Sessions
Workshops
- Highly interactive sessions providing hands-on learning experiences, training, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Typically 1 to 1.5 hours long.
Special Sessions
- Thematic tracks consisting of invited talks, paper presentations, and panel discussions focused on emerging topics.
- Typically 0.5 to 1 hours long.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Interested organizers must submit a Workshop or Special Session Proposal containing the following elements:
- Sustainable Energy & Climate Solutions (Renewable energy, carbon neutrality, climate change mitigation) - SDG 7, 13
- Smart Cities & Green Infrastructure (Sustainable urban planning, eco-friendly architecture, resilient infrastructure) - SDG 9, 11
- Circular Economy & Sustainable Business Models (Green finance, waste management, sustainable manufacturing) - SDG 8, 12
- Emerging Green Technologies (AI for sustainability, blockchain in energy, IoT for environmental monitoring) - SDG 9, 17
- Policy & Governance for Sustainability (Regulations, corporate sustainability strategies, government initiatives) - SDG 16, 17
- Sustainable Transportation & Mobility (Electric vehicles, smart transport systems, public transit innovations) - SDG 11, 13
- Water Security & Sustainable Agriculture (Efficient water management, sustainable farming, food security) - SDG 2, 6
Submission Deadline
- Proposal Submission Deadline: June 10, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: June 30, 2025
Registration Fee & Discounts
The registration fee for Workshops and Special Sessions is subject to a discount between 20% to 50%, depending on the number of participants and group registration size. Larger groups and early registrants may receive higher discounts.
